The property is in Minnewitstraße 29, a very quiet and green location in Munich.
The FASANARKADEN are situated in the “Siedlung am Perlacher Forst” in Munich-
Obergiesing, at the southern outskirts of the city. The original residential area was established in 1953, on former woodlands of the Perlacher Forst, in order to meet the requirements of living spaces for US military personnel. In conformity with American standards, the layout was conceived park-like with big spaces between buildings and wide roads. This extraordinary style of urban planning still characterizes the whole quarter.
After the US military left in 1991, the quarter has been constantly revaluated upwards. The reasons for this development are quite clear: a green living environment with the Perlacher Forst close by, an excellent infrastructure and a favorable traffic binding. The city train station Fasangarten, just one kilometer away, can easily reached by bus. From there, it will take you only 25 minutes to the city’s center at Marienplatz.
There is a perfect connection by car to downtown Munich via the Tegernseer Landstraße and via Highway 995 to the south. Unterhaching, with its various sporting institutions and a charming city center, is only three kilometers away.
